Kempinski Hotel 4 Seasons
In the heart of Munich's city centre, on the exclusive Maximilianstrasse, we were able to give the traditional ‘Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski’ a new lease of life. We completely refurbished the rooms, kitchens, conference and catering areas in the listed building to give them a modern, high-quality design. We not only optimised the room layout, but also redesigned every detail with stylish materials and modern furniture.

A project in a building so steeped in history requires sensitivity - especially when it comes to monument protection. In close consultation with the relevant authorities, we therefore carefully renovated parts of the façade and the windows in order to preserve the character of the building while ensuring maximum comfort.
The exposed location of the hotel and the high demands of international guests posed a particular challenge. As a temporary closure was not an option, all work had to be carried out during ongoing operations. This meant that we had to plan the entire renovation in such a way that hotel operations could continue as undisturbed as possible - with a sophisticated noise protection concept and a tight construction schedule in two extremely short construction phases.
Above all, the coordination and realisation of the high requirements for fire protection, statics and monument protection within the old building structure demanded precision and perfect cooperation between all those involved. Thanks to a tight schedule and a highly motivated team, we were able to successfully realise this challenging project - and give the ‘Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski’ a new, contemporary elegance without losing its unique character.
